Sir Elton Hercules John CH CBE (born Reginald Kenneth Dwight; 25 March 1947) is an English singer, songwriter, pianist, and composer. He has worked with lyricist Bernie Taupin since 1967; they have collaborated on more than 30 albums. John has sold more than 300 million records, making him one of the world's best-selling music artists. He has more than fifty Top 40 hits, as well as seven consecutive number-one albums in the United States, 58 Billboard Top 40 singles, 27 Top 10 singles, four of which peaked at number two and nine of which reached number one. His tribute single "Candle in the Wind 1997", rewritten in dedication to Diana, Princess of Wales, sold over 33 million copies worldwide and is the best-selling single in the history of the UK and US singles charts. He has also produced records and occasionally acted in films. John owned Watford F.C. from 1976 to 1987 and from 1997 to 2002, and is an honorary life president of the club.
Lewis Capaldi
Lewis Capaldi (born 7 October 1996) is a Scottish singer-songwriter. He was nominated for the Critics' Choice Award at the 2019 Brit Awards. In March 2019, his single "Someone You Loved" topped the UK Singles Chart where it remained for seven weeks, and in October 2019 it reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. On 17 May 2019 he released his debut album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, which remained at the top of the UK Albums Chart for six weeks.

Foo Fighters announce gig at Glasgow's Hampden Park as part of 2024 UK tour

Rock band Foo Fighters have announced that they will be heading to Glasgow next summer as part of their Everything Or Nothing At All Tour.

The much-loved group will be performing at Hampden Park on June, 17 2024 and tickets are available here.They band also revealed that supporting them at Glasgow would be Courtney Barnett and Honeyblood.

Announcing the tour, they wrote on Instagram: "Everything Or Nothing At All Tour Announced in the UK for 2024! Presale: Begins on Wednesday, 28 June at 9am BST, ends on Thursday, 29 June at 10pm BST.

General Onsale: Friday, 30 June at 9am."Presale begins tomorrow (Wednesday, June 28) at 9am and general sale is Friday (June 30) and will be available here.The iconic band played a surprise set at Glastonbury at the weekend and sent the crowd wild.The band, who have penned songs including Best Of You and Everlong performed on the Pyramid stage on Friday before the Arctic Monkeys' headline set.The band just last month announced their new drummer Josh Freese, following the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins last year.
