Fleabag star Angus Imrie has landed a royally exciting role on Netflix hit series The Crown after wowing audiences in the Phoebe Waller-Bridge BBC comedy.
The 25-year-old actor - who is the son of acting legend Celia Imrie, 67 - is set to play Prince Edward in season four of the Crown, which is expected to hit screens later this year.
Angus portrayed Creepy Jake in season two of Fleabag - playing the odd step-son of the title character’s sister Claire, played by Sian Clifford.
Now Angus is set to reunite with Fleabag’s Olivia Colman - with the Oscar winning star reprising her role as Queen Elizabeth II in season four of The Crown, with Angus playing her youngest son, Edward, the Earl of Wessex.
