The half-hour show would follow “three self involved best friends (Marcus, Dave, and Sara) in their early twenties who all work at the same terrible start up and all f—ing hate their boss,” the official logline says. “This trio needs to start their life and Marcus, the leader of the crew believes the only way to do so is to quit their awful job. Zack Sharf Angelina Jolie has filed a countersuit against Brad Pitt amid their legal battle over Château Miraval, a French winery the former couple bought more than a decade ago. The countersuit, obtained by Variety, finds Jolie’s legal team revealing new details about an alleged altercation that took place between Pitt, Jolie and their children on a plane in September, 2016. Pitt filed a lawsuit against Jolie earlier this year, accusing her of violating “contractural rights” after she sold her half of Château Miraval without his knowledge. Jolie’s lawyers claim in the countersuit that discussions with Pitt’s team about selling her side of the company broke down after he demanded she sign “a nondisclosure agreement that would have contractually prohibited her from speaking outside of court about Pitt’s physical and emotional abuse of her and their children.”

On the night of December 15, Stephen Colbert, James Corden and Trevor Noah all nodded to Google during CBS’ “Late Show” and “Late Late Show” and Comedy Central’s “Daily Show.” The ad deal represented a vote of confidence in a sturdy portfolio of late-night programs that spanned broadcast and cable. Now, a good chunk of the talent in that collection is gearing up to move.

BreAnna Bell Showtime will not be moving forward with a third season of “Flatbush Misdemeanors,” Variety has confirmed. The news comes after the network aired the series’ Season 2 finale on Aug. 21. The Kevin Iso and Dan Perlman comedy series followed the two creators as they settled into their new lives, struggling to survive in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Kristin Dodson, Hassan Johnson and Kareem Green were amongst the cast. “We would like to thank the creators, executive producers and stars Kevin Iso and Dan Perlman, along with fellow executive producer Keith Heisler, our partners at Avalon, as well as our scene-stealing supporting cast of Kristin Dodson, Hassan Johnson and Kareem Green,” said a Showtime spokesperson in a statement. “We’re very proud to have taken Kevin and Dan’s distinctive shorts and expanded it into two seasons of excellent television. Those two funny and inventive seasons will live on our site for audiences to continue to discover and enjoy.”

EXCLUSIVE: Showtime has opted not to proceed with a third season of Kevin Iso and Dan Perlman’s comedy series Flatbush Misdemeanors. The news comes three weeks after the show’s second season ended its run on the network. There is no decision yet for the future of Showtime’s other current comedy series, I Love That for You, whose first season led to Flatbush Misdemeanor’s Season 2.
