A studio flat on the market for £750 per month has been slammed as "worse than prison" due to the kitchen, toilet and washing machine being under the bed.

London estate agents boast of a "great studio flat" with a "mezzanine sleeping area" but the reality is that it sits above a kitchenette barely bigger than a dining room table.

A toilet is squeezed into a narrow corridor also underneath the bunk which tenants can only access by clambering up and down a wooden ladder each day.

Twitter users did not fail to see the funny side of the Zoopla ad which some said was a good use of space while others compared it to a Sims flat or even a prison cell.
