Scottish Labour has launched its general election manifesto in Edinburgh today.Anas Sarwar made his pitch for the 2026 Holyrood election as he said Scotland needs "a change of direction at Holyrood as much as we need one at Westminster".He said the SNP had "failed the people of Scotland" and said booting the Tories out would be "just the start".The Scottish Labour document included various measures, mostly expanding on UK Labour's launch last week.Here are five ways in which Scottish Labour's general election manifesto will affect Scots.The document pledged to consult on the need for an independent football regulator for Scotland.It said Scottish Labour "wants to see fans have a greater say in the way football is run".The UK Government had similar plans for English and Welsh football and Labour has pledged to pick them up.

The main aims of the UK regulator was to make sure football clubs are financially stable, make sure that money is properly distributed throughout the pyramid and protecting traditional features of the game.The Scottish Labour manifesto said: "Scottish Labour wants to see fans have a greater say in the way football is run, and we would consult on the issue of football governance and the need for an independent regulator for Scottish football."The Scottish Labour manifesto said that extra UK Government investment in the NHS will "deliver millions every year in health-related funding for Scotland."It said this money will be enough to fund 160,000 more appointments in Scotland every year "by operating additional clinics and theatre procedures in the evenings and weekends."The document also said this would "help to cut waiting lists, drive down waiting times, and reduce the need for patients to pay out of
