Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.
Five-star luxury hotel which will boast some of the city’s most lavish suites to open in the summer
manchestereveningnews.co.ukThe long-awaited five-star hotel Forty-Seven, on Peter Street, will open this summer, it’s been confirmed. It will sit in the Grade II-listed former shipping warehouse Lancaster House, and promises some of the most extravagant suites in the city, according to its owners.
The boutique hotel, which is owned by the same people behind the Velvet hotel on Canal Street, will have 32 rooms, including various ‘signature’ and duplex suites featuring bold designs.
New manager Ryan Thompson said he wants to deliver intelligent luxury for those who appreciate both statement and style while they eat, sleep, drink and enjoy time in the heart of the city’.
Not only that, it’ll be throwing open the doors to Asha’s restaurant, which will reopen on the ground floor. Asha’s, co-owned by Bollywood singer Asha Bhosle and which has previously appeared in the Michelin Guide, will also provide room service to the rooms in the hotel, as well as being the ‘heart and soul’ of the hotel.
