A group of masked thugs forced their way into a house in the area yesterday evening (Tuesday). They had hammers and knives, police said.
A teenage boy was attacked and the men fled the scene in a car they had stolen from the property. They pursued the van and boxed it in on Brightmeadow Close on Bolton. Five men - aged between 15 and 22 - were detained by officers
