A dad has become the first single gay man in Scotland to adopt a child.Thomas Anderson always knew he wanted to be a dad, but being a gay man, he feared it might never happen.But four years ago the 33-year-old saw an advert for St Andrew's Children's Society on Facebook and decided he was going to try to give a child a home.He said: "I was desperate to be a dad and there were so many kids out there who needed parents.
