A man who died after a horror two-vehicle crash with a lorry in Dumfriesshire has been named locally.Ross Wood, 32, died after the silver Mondeo he was driving collided with a Scania HGV on the A75 near to Springholm, Castle Douglas, at around 1.15am on Friday, September, 20.He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene and the 57-year-old male driver of the truck was taken to Galloway Royal Infirmary as a precaution.
Family and friends lined up to pay tribute to Ross after hearing the news of his death.His sister, Becca Wood, said: "I don't know how I am meant to do this without you.
I love you more than anything and always will. I'm so so heartbroken. I just want to come see you and give you a cuddle."Kelvin Wood commented: "Absolutely shocked to hear the tragic news, Ross.
