The heartbroken family of a man who died in Aberdeen at the weekend has paid tribute to the "one-of-kind" father and grandad.
A 50-year-old man was allegedly attacked on Carmelite Lane near Union Square on Sunday, March 12. Police have now named him as Steven Johnson.
Steven, who had seven children and four grandchildren, tragically died at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary two days later on the evening of Tuesday, March 14.
In a statement, his family said they are living through a "nightmare". They said: “Steven was a loving and amazing father, husband, grandad, brother and uncle.
