A man who died following an alleged stabbing in Fraserburgh has been named by police. Michael Jenkins, 24, passed away after officers were called to reports of an alleged disturbance on Watermill Road in the Aberdeenshire town at around 6pm on Sunday, June 4.
Michael, from Cumbria, was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.A teenager was also taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment following the alleged attack.
Officers have since charged a 19-year-old in connection with the incident. Michael's heartbroken brother has released a statement through Police Scotland as he paid tribute to the 'amazing' lad.
He said: "Where to start. I am so grateful that you were such a massive part of my life for so long, I feel honoured and privileged to be able to call you my brother.
