An 18-year-old man who died after being stabbed in Derbyshire has been named by his friends as Noah Smedley. Derbyshire Police said officers were called to Heanor Road in Ilkeston at 8.20pm on Saturday (December 28) after reports of a man being stabbed.
The force said a man was stabbed in Rose Avenue and later died on Heanor Road just before 9pm. Seven people have now been arrested, including four 17-year-old boys on suspicion of murder.
A 52-year-old man, 15-year-old girl and 16-year-old girl, as well as one of the 17-year-old boys, have all been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender in connection with the investigation.
Several friends have now named the victim as 18-year-old Noah Smedley, reports NottinghamshireLive. Friends have shared Derbyshire Police's appeals for information on the stabbing along with their own tributes to Noah.
