Tributes have been paid to a 'great guy' who tragically died after being injured on a docked ship in Aberdeen. Albert Ross, otherwise known as 'Abbey' sadly passed away at Aberdeen South Harbour following the incident yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the port at 3.40pm, but the 67-year-old was pronounced a short time later.Following the tragedy, Abbey has been hailed as a 'great guy and friend' by those who knew him.
Former colleague Stuart Cooper said: "Was a great lad to work with, always a laugh and would run rings round most youngers. RIP bud."Michael Sheran said: "Abbey was the captain of our football team for years.
