Tributes are pouring in for an 'inspirational' pensioner who 'touched the lives of so many' after an Aberdeenshire horror crash.

We told how Lily Cowie died after being hit by a car in James Street, Peterhead on Friday. Emergency crews were called to the scene, near Peterhead Harbour, at around 1.05pm.

The 77-year-old was rushed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary via ambulance after being struck by the silver Hyundai.
