The heartbroken family of a 15-year-old who died after collapsing in a restaurant have paid tribute to their 'handsome and caring' son.
Euan McNamara collapsed at Brown's restaurant in the Liverpool ONE complex on Saturday October 22. The teen, who was a year 11 student at St Mary's College, Crosby, had been out shopping with family when he suddenly fell to the floor at roughly 5.50pm.
Staff and members of the public, including off-duty medics, desperately tried to help the youngster before North West Ambulance service arrivedPolice also attended the scene to set up a cordon, the Liverpool Echo reports.
Euan was rushed to Royal Liverpool hospital where he sadly passed away a short time later. Merseyside Police confirmed his death was not believed to be suspicious and his next of kin were being supported by specialist officers.Euan's parents, Michael and Sian, paid tribute to their son, who they described as "loving" and "caring".They said: "On Saturday teatime, after an afternoon’s shopping, we were at Browns restaurant in Liverpool as a family with our son Euan, daughter Megan and close friends when Euan unexpectedly collapsed.
