Wetherspoons will start serving again soon, with 750 pubs set to reopen on July 4. As the company prepares to open many of its sites, it is also preparing to make some major changes that are likely to last for some time.
Plastic screens have been installed between tables at a branch in Muswell Hill, London. They aim to protect customers and staff, while allowing the business to restart with confidence.
The glass separators have been installed also between chairs located next to each other as well as sofas, to ensure customers are not at risk.
Other branches set to reopen when the government gives the go-ahead are planning to have a smaller menu. All the pubs will have staff members that regularly clean surfaces throughout the building.
