First look inside Manchester city centre's swanky new apartments that are being built in an old Jobcentre

First look images of brand new apartments being built in Manchester city centre have now been released. A former Jobcentre building in Longsight is being converted into 53 high-spec luxury apartment as part of an £8 million scheme.

Named 'Elevate', the apartments are made up of a mix of one, two and three-bed studios with various open-plan layouts, and will be ready and available to rent from spring.

The Jobcentre Plus site on Clarence Road closed in August 2018 to merge with their centre in Rushholme. READ MORE: Love all things property?

Sign up to the new At Home newsletter from the Manchester Evening News Build-to-rent developer Placefirst set out to transform the vacant building into a ‘thriving residential community' in 2020 after plans were approved by the council.
