Fire crews battle blaze at Edinburgh garage as emergency services lock down scene

An Edinburgh street has been sealed by fire crews as they battle a blaze at a garage.Emergency crews rushed to Jane Street in Leith at around 12.47 pm on Wednesday, January 11, after members of the public reported smoke billowing from a building.

Four fire engines and a height appliance are believed to have attended the incident. Edinburgh Live reports that the blaze appears to have started at a local mechanic shop called Bob's Garage.

Images show white smoke rising from the building as fire crews work to extinguish the blaze.
