EXCLUSIVE: Film Constellation has unveiled a first look image for Jérémy Comte’s upcoming transatlantic drama thriller Paradise as the Paris and London-based film company launches sales ahead of an expected festival debut this year.

Comte wrapped principal photography between Quebec and Ghana on the movie last year. It is his directorial debut, following short film Fauve which was Oscar-nominated for Best Live Action Short Film, and won the Special Jury Prize at Sundance, and best Canadian short at TIFF.

The feature revolves around two young men on different sides of the globe, one in Canada, one in Africa, who connect through their search for the truth about their absent fathers.

In the wake of his father’s disappearance at sea, Kojo, a young Ghanaian is drawn into a world of street gang and deception.
