Filip Helander has pulled out of the Sweden squad with an injury and now faces a battle to be fit to face Celtic in 10 days time.
The defender has been a mainstay in Steven Gerrard's team since returning from a long-term injury suffered in the Betfred Cup Final last year but missed Sunday's 2-0 win over Ross County.
And now he's had to pull out of the Sweden squad for games against Russia, Croatia and Portugal over the next week.Sweden boss Janne Andersen explained that Helander had arrived at the camp with a 'light injury' and they made the decision to send him back to Scotland instead of potentially aggravating it further.
