[Warning: Potentially Triggering Content] A former Teen Mom 2 star is facing criminal charges after being arrested following an alleged domestic violence situation late this week in Florida. Nathan Griffith, who formerly starred on the hit MTV show and shares a son with ex Jenelle Evans, was arrested on charges of domestic battery in Delray Beach, Florida on Friday.

A police affidavit in the case indicated cops in Delray Beach responded to a domestic disturbance call on Friday.

The call had reportedly been placed by Nathan’s brother-in-law, William. On the phone, William told dispatchers Nathan had called him and said he “lost it.” Nathan apparently told William that he allegedly began choking his girlfriend before dragging her up the stairs in their home.

When Nathan suddenly hung up, William texted the girlfriend — who has not been identified by media reports — to ask if she was safe.
