Female thugs leave woman, 20, brain damaged after 'fly-kicking' horror attack

Two women have been jailed for nearly 20 years after launching a horror attack on another woman which left her with a catastrophic brain injury.

The 20-year-old victim "fell like a stone" when she was fly-kicked in Birmingham city centre last summer. She had to be put into an induced coma for two weeks, report BirminghamLive.

Atiyyah Gidden, 21, was sentenced to 11 years after she was previously found guilty of causing grievous bodily harm with intent following a trial.

Savannah Ward, 23, of Aston, who had admitted the same charge, was jailed for eight years and three months. Birmingham Crown Court heard the victim caught a bus with a friend into the city centre on May last year.
