EastEnders ' Ian Beale will reportedly be off-screen until the end of the year after actor Adam Woodyatt decided to take an "extended break" from the BBC One soap.
The Daily Star Sunday reports the actor will be taking 10 weeks off from the show, meaning Ian will have to be written out. The report suggests the character will go out in an explosive twist shortly after the soap returns to TV after going off air due to an episode shortage.
If he takes 10 weeks off, it means Adam could be away until late October and with the delay with getting filmed episodes to the screen, viewers are unlikely to see Ian again until the end of 2020.
