Brits heading to France this week have been warned that they could experience some “disruption to services” due to industrial action.
The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) has issued an update for the country. There are plans for cross-sector strike action and demonstrations on Thursday, February 16 and again on Tuesday March 7.
It comes as UK Border Force staff are set walk out at the French ports of Calais and Dunkirk and at the Coquelles Channel Tunnel Terminal next week.
The FCDO warned travellers in the latest update that the French strike action may start before Thursday and could end on Friday morning.
