FCC releases viewer reaction to Rihanna's halftime show
wonderwall.comRihanna's Super Bowl halftime show performance caused quite the disturbia for several NFL watchers.The Federal Communications Commission received 103 complaints from viewers, with many feeling the performance was overly sexual.
Some people even said it was pornographic.Of course, the number of complaints from RiRi's performance pales in comparison to issues viewers had during the infamous Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction at the 2004 Super Bowl.
That generated more than half a million complaints. Citing the FCC documents, TMZ detailed several of the new complaints. "This year the halftime show was so indecent I had to turn off the TV because of the pornographic content," one person claimed.
Another said, "I don't care what someone worships but children shouldn't be exposed to pornography and as an adult I don't wish to see it … Where has decency gone?
