Another FBI spinoff is coming! FBI: CIA in the works at CBS, and a backdoor pilot is expected to air this spring, via TVLine.

Here’s a plot summary: “A dedicated, strait-laced FBI agent and a street-smart CIA agent join forces as part of a new, clandestine task force charged with solving and preventing domestic terrorism in and around New York City.” Keep reading to find out more… The series is now casting for three series regular roles.

The pilot will air as a springtime episode of FBI. If ordered to series, FBI: CIA would premiere during the 2025-26 TV season, according to the report. FBI debuted in September 2018, and is currently airing Season 7. FBI: Most Wanted, the first spinoff, premiered in January 2020 and is in the middle of Season 6, while FBI: International, the most recent spinoff, launched in September 2021 and is now in Season 4.
