Fans shocked as popular Death in Paradise actor leaves the show in 'twists and turns' finale
ok.co.ukRalf Little has officially left Death in Paradise - the BBC have confirmed that the episode that aired on Sunday 24 March was his final appearance as DI Neville Parker.
After joining the series to replace DI Jack Mooney (Ardal O’Hanlon), Neville flew over to the Caribbean island of Saint Marie where he was greeted with sand and sun - which he hated.
However, the police detective went on to win over the hearts of his colleagues and left the show sailing into the sunset with DS Florence Cassell (played by Josephine Jobert).The BBC released a statement from Ralf about Neville’s exit, he said: “My time on Saint Marie has come to an end – what an end!
New adventures await Neville, and he got to sail away into the sunset with his best friend. Who knows what happens for them next!" The final episode of series 13 saw viewers on tenterhooks as they waited to see what would come of Neville and Florence who have had a ‘will they, won’t they’ situation going on for years.
