Will Smith has faced criticism for kissing singer India Martinez during a live performance at the Premio Lo Nuestro Awards 2025.The rapper/actor and the Spanish flamenco/pop artist delivered a rendition of their joint single, ‘First Love’ at this year’s edition of the event – which honours the best of Latin music.At one point in the song, Smith appeared to lean in for a kiss before Martínez rejected him and walked away to continue the performance.

Later, it looked like she went in for a kiss with Smith herself.Viewers have since been sharing their thoughts on the performance, with many commenting on Smith’s attempt to kiss Martinez – despite this seemingly being a part of the choreography.“This is the worst,” wrote one user on social media (via The Independent).
