Love Island fans have been left concerned over contestant Indiyah Polack, following Paige Thorne’s awkward reaction to her revealing she and Dami Hope had exchanged the L-word with each other.

Indiyah, 23, informed the ladies of the big update in her romance with Dami, 26, as they all enjoyed a VIP brunch on Wednesday night’s episode. The Islanders were unaware that the couple had said the L-word to each other offscreen, as Indiyah explained: “Literally you guys don't know but like two days ago he may or may not have dropped the L-bomb." News of this left Dami’s best friend in the villa, Paige, 24, keen to no more, as as she asked eagerly before the rest of the girls: "Spill the beans, who said it first and what was the situation?" "Well we were in the kitchen and he was like 'I do love you' and I was like 'I do love you too,’” Indiyah replied, as Paige placed her hand over her heart and asserted: "I'm so happy for you guys." Her reaction has triggered fans to feel uneasy about the situation as many have claimed that Paige fancies Dami.

One person said: "Not Paige wanting know why Dami said the l word #loveisland." Another commented: “Paige definitely wants to make little Jaydens with Dami cause she is obsessed with him, even from this girls date you would realise it. #LoveIsland." "Paige is that annoying girl best friend to Dami, I feel bad for Indiyah #LoveIsland," a third chimed, as someone else said: "Paige gets far too involved in Indiyah and Dami’s relationship, so weird #loveisland." Dami and Paige have been open about the close bond their share in the villa.

Dami spoke more about his connection with Paige last night, as he questioned the Welsh stunner’s partner Adam Collard on how their romance is going.
