Vogue Williams’ new TV show aired for the first time last night to a mixed response from viewers. The Big Deal – a mixture of a game show and a talent show – is expected to be a Saturday night ratings hit for Virgin Media.
It involves Vogue overseeing a talent search with aspiring stars vying to impress judges – Boy George, JLS singer Aston Merrygold, Deirdre O’Kane, music star Lyra and Jedward – in the hope of winning a top prize of €50,000.
And while the format got a thumbs up from viewers there was a mixed response to Vogue’s performance in One unimpressed viewer described the model ‘as a poor choice of presenter’ while another pleaded with her to ‘relax a bit more’.
