A family have been left stuck in a hotel room after being given 'days' to leave their flat. The father claims all the tenants in the building were given a 'week's notice' to leave with no reason provided by the property owner, reports Leicestershire Live.
The anonymous father says his family were placed into Highcross House Apart Hotel by the Blaby District Council after having previously stayed at a hotel after facing homelessness.
The couple and their 10-year-old daughter moved into the property managed by Showcase Apartments earlier this year.After moving into the accommodation in July, the family then began getting settled in Highcross House Apart Hotel.
However, the father says something seemed off in the weeks prior to their evacuation from the property.He said: “My wife noticed that there were people with hi-vis vests on.
