Family's disbelief after spotting 4ft long 'crocodile' in neighbour's garden

The latest incident is just one of a number of sightings of the so-called 'Castleford Croc', with several others reporting seeing a scaly beast around the area.The recent photo was taken by Sarah Jayne Ellis in a garden close to Savile Road near the River Aire.She estimates that the creature was 3 to 4ft long and 'looked real'.She told Yorkshire Live : "I thought 'that's a crocodile'." Sarah, who works as a nurse, didn't get a chance to investigate further as she'd just done a night shift and needed to sleep.She says that it didn't move when she saw it but several hours later it had gone.Sarah showed the photo to her.
