Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). The family of a teen fined £10,000 for a house party which broke coronavirus restrictions are reportedly refusing to pay the penalty.

Police found between 80 and 100 people at the bash in Wiltshire last month, although the 18-year-old organiser claims it spiralled out of contorl.

He told his parents he only invited a few friends around while they were away but things escalated after the event was shared on social media.

His dad said the teen was "utterly stupid", however he insists drunk gatecrashers descended on the home and has decided to fight the case in court.
