Family of missing sisters open up on 'upsetting time' as they urge public to contact police

The family of two sisters missing in Scotland have opened up on the 'upsetting time' they have endured as they urge anyone with information to contact police.

Eliza and Henrietta Huszti's family spoke out nearly a week after they were last seen. The two women, both aged 32-years-old, were last seen on CCTV on Market Street at the Victoria Bridge over the River Dee in Aberdeen, around 2.12am on Tuesday, January 7.

They crossed the bridge and turned right onto a footpath next to the River Dee heading in the direction of Aberdeen Boat Club.

Extensive police searches have been carried out on the River Dee and surrounding areas but the two sisters remain missing. Their family has a released a statement through Police Scotland.
