Family of girl, 16, hit by train 'trying to come to terms with their tragic loss'

The family of a teenage girl who was struck by a train and killed say they are trying to come to terms with her loss. Esme Barry was killed following the incident on the rail line near Keynsham in Somerset on August 31.

Flowers and cards were left at the scene by locals after news of the teenager's death broke, reports Somerset Live. A picture of Esme was today released by her grieving family.

Esme's mum Vicky Berry also posted a moving tribute on Facebook.
