A dad facing a 'death sentence' after being diagnosed with a rare disease has issued a desperate appeal for help. Jack Pridmore, 27, who suffers from primary sclerosing cholangitis, needs a liver transplant.
It is the only treatment for the disease, an auto-immune condition which affects the bile ducts in his liver. Jack, from Leeds, has been placed on the transplant list since July but is yet to find a donor, Leeds Live reports.

Jack just sees his condition at the minute as a death sentence because he doesn't know if he's going to get one in time - no one does. "We've got a four-year-old as well and it's been a really confusing and upsetting time for him because he's not old enough to really understand what's going on." Now, Shannon is desperately appealing for potential donors to come forward.
