A horrified family checked into Center Parcs only to discover a cleaner dead inside their lodge. The family were left shocked by the traumatic incident after checking into the holiday park, with the death not being treated as suspicious.
Emergency services were reportedly called to the Center Parcs site in Woburn, Bedfordshire, Birmingham Live reports.The cleaner was reported to have been there for over an hour.A source said to the Sun newspaper: “It was the worst possible start to their holiday.
They were a family with children.“They got in the room and the poor woman was lying there dead. Her family are absolutely devastated.
It’s caused a lot of shock and upset.”Center Parcs said: “Our thoughts and condolences are with the family and friends of our colleague.”The holiday group operates six holiday villages in the United Kingdom and Ireland, with each covering about 400 acres.The company's first village opened at Sherwood Forest, Nottinghamshire, in 1987 and its sixth, at Longford Forest, Ireland, opened in 2019.Woburn was added in 2014.
