Family builds Las Vegas sports bar in garden to cheer themselves up in lockdown

A family have built their own pub in their back garden which was inspired by a Las Vegas sports bar in a bid to cheer them up in lockdown.

Carpenter John O'Grady's work came to a virtual standstill between March and September 2020 so he got his whole family involved in creating the bar for them all to enjoy.

The family-of-nine includes his four children, his eldest son's partner and his mum and dad who all live together and everyone has chipped in to help with the project.

O'Gradys Bar is complete with a pool table, three TVs, a juke box, a games room, a pub toilet and draught beer pumps. John told Birmingham Live : "It's Vegas themed and has memorabilia from all the places we've been.
