The families of four of the victims who lost their lives in the helicopter crash that killed Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna have filed wrongful death lawsuits against the transport company.
The basketball legend’s widow Vanessa Bryant filed a wrongful death lawsuit in February in which she alleged the foggy weather conditions on the day of the tragedy – 26 January – were not conducive to flying, and the Island Express helicopter should have been grounded.
Now the surviving members of the Altobelli family and Mauser family also claim that Island Express’ negligence was the reason for the death of their loved ones.
