EXCLUSIVE: Macaulay Culkin has joined the Season 2 cast of Fallout, Prime Video‘s breakout series from Kilter Films, in a recurring role, sources tell Deadline.

Executive produced by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, Fallout is based on the video game series from Bethesda Game Studios. Two hundred years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind — and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them.

Noone is commenting but Culkin is said to be playing a crazy genius-type character. The series stars Ella Purnell as Lucy, Aaron Moten is Maximus, Walton Goggins as the Ghoul as well as well as Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, Sarita Choudhury, Michael Emerson, Leslie Uggams, Frances Turner, Dave Register, Zach Cherry, Johnny Pemberton, Rodrigo Luzzi, Annabel O’Hagan and Xelia Mendes-Jones.

Fallout debuted as one of Prime Video’s Top 3 most watched titles and earned 16 Emmy nominations for its first season, including Outstanding Drama Series.
