Speaking to EVOKE ahead of Gigs From the Gaff, a fundraiser for frontline workers Eric will be hosting on Saturday 9 May, he gave insight to the likelihood of a return to the long-running soap. ‘Cathal is hiding out in Spain with all the other criminals on the Costa Del Sol.
I’m sure he’s obeying quarantine laws over there,’ he joked about his character’s current situation. As for whether Cathal’s return is inevitable, Eric hopes so but he’s not sure. ‘The answer is I don’t know.
The fact is, they left the door open so he could always come back,’ he shared. Does he want to return to the RTÉ stalwart show?
