Fans of Fair City have been waiting for news on when the soap can resume filming after lockdown measures were put in place earlier this year.
The soap shut down production in March, with the last episode of the beloved programme airing on April 12. Over a month later, fans are chomping at the bit to get an update on the series.
And we have some good news for you. According to Mail on Sunday, the fans will get that much-needed information very soon. An RTÉ spokesperson said the broadcaster had no information on when filming would resume but ‘would know more towards the end of next week’.
She confirmed that scriptwriters were already working on plots which will include a lockdown storyline and they have been ‘very busy’.
