Witnesses were left stunned by a "huge explosion" near Donald Trump's tower in Las Vegas, with one local taking to social media to describe the loud "boom, boom, boom" they heard.
Videos captured by residents close to the 64-floor complex show emergency services racing to the scene, which is known for its "exceptional views" of the strip.Footage shared on social media appeared to show smoke billowing from near the luxury complex, with police sirens audible shortly after.
It was initially thought that the sounds could have been caused by a car fire at the nearby Fashion Show Mall.Subsequent videos revealed a Tesla Cybertruck in flames outside the hotel entrance.
A witness commented in the footage: "I just heard a boom. There's a lot of smoke. It was like a boom, boom, boom. It almost sounded like a rolling garbage dumpster, then I saw that pop up."Another person posted online: "My friend who did the Grucci fireworks show in Las Vegas just now texted me that there was a huge explosion at Trump Tower in Vegas."
