A study has revealed 13 Omicron symptoms experienced in people that have been fully vaccinated against Covid. The study, published in epidemiology journal Eurosurveillance, looked into infections recorded at a company Christmas party held in Oslo, Norway, on November 30 last year.
It was found that 66 out of the 117 people in attendance came down with confirmed Omicron, while there was a further 15 probable cases of the virus variant.
One of the people in attendance is said to have returned from South Africa - where Omicron was first reported - just two days before the festive bash.
Experts also discovered that one of the attendees was infected by the Delta strain of the virus.Six people chose not to be interviewed for the purposes of the study.The average age of people found to be infected with the virus was 38.
