The Easy Home heated airer costs around 8p an hour to run, and is set to save shoppers cash as energy prices rise. It quickly sold out earlier this year in February, and a fortnight ago, more stock quietly dropped on the Aldi website, but was once again sold out in 24 hours .

Costing under 8p an hour to run, it's far cheaper than the average tumble drier, which cost upwards of 30p an hour to run. A spokesperson for Aldi told the M.E.N: “Aldi’s Heated airer will be available to pre-order online from October 2 and in stores from October 9.” Previously an online exclusive, shoppers should be able to get their hands on the heated airer in store in as little as two weeks, but the safest bet will be to order online to secure the coveted Specialbuy .
