A reality TV star has opened up about how he was in the ‘depths of despair’ after nose surgery that went wrong. He is calling for more mental health support for those who have cosmetic procedures after his struggles.
Charlie King described how his career was ‘floored’ after the nose job did not go as planned. The TV star also revealed he suffered from body dysmorphia.
The 36-year-old, who used to star on The Only Way is Essex, appeared before MPs on the Health and Social Care Committee to share his experience with the mental health disorder.
He said that during lockdown he became ‘obsessed’ with his nose, and as a result, booked in for surgery. Sadly, that surgery ‘went wrong'.
