An ex-Sephora employee has taken to TikTok to reveal store secrets, including how to get your hands on totally free samples.The influencer named Serena, who goes by @sereenaoc online has shared her insider knowledge about the beauty megastore.The viral video, which has amassed more than 280k likes, has exposed that it’s possible to get a free sample of nearly anything you want, within reason.

Serena explains that shoppers can get as many samples as they want, as long as Sephora employees can fit it inside the small sample jar.

She also highlighted that this hack is possible, but warned to not abuse the privilege.The former worker added that the jars are especially useful for powder, cream, or liquid products - these can usually last up to a couple of months. "Try not to ask for lipstick samples.

I promise you they'll probably internally hate you for it. "Also, it's not sanitary. It's disgusting," she says.The second tip Serena shares is that shoppers can also get free fragrance samples of any perfume they want.
