A former Royal Marine mysteriously vanished two weeks ago from the same town as missing airman Corrie McKeague. John Dick served in the Royal Marines for 13 years, and was last spotted in his hometown of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, on November 30, around 6.30pm.

His family claim that he might be using his training to “hide away". The 37-year-old father-of-two was seen getting onto a train heading towards Ipswich, but no one knows where he got off along the line.

His disappearance comes two weeks after an inquest opened into the death of an RAF gunner who went missing from the same town four years ago.

Corrie McKeague, 23, vanished from Bury St Edmunds in September 2016. There is no suggestion the two cases are in any way linked.
