Mia Khalifa says building a massive female following on TikTok gave her the confidence to launch her own OnlyFans page.Having previously 'written off' joining the popular content sharing platform, Mia admits the fun she was having on TikTok allowed her to look at OnlyFans differently.In an extensive interview with Bustle, the former Pornhub actress spoke on various topics including her no nonsense attitude to subscribers gagging for her to share raunchier images.

Mia's pal Jenna Lee, who boasts two million followers of her own, also revealed the secret to her friend's success on OnlyFans which fans pay just under £10 per month to view.

Mia who boasts 32.8million TikTok followers told the online magazine: “My Instagram is maybe 25% women but TikTok is in the mid-40s.

That’s why it’s such a safe and fun platform for me."There are videos where my entire comments section is just women, and I can sit in there and go back and forth with them.“ She explained that it was women on the social media app who inspired her to start an OnlyFans account in September of 2020.“I had written it off for so long because I was insecure,” Mia said about its notoriety for pornography.Jenna said that shooting each other's OnlyFans content together in different Airbnbs without a production company has allowed Mia to be fully herself — something her followers cannot get enough of.Jenna said: “People fall in love with a character, and Mia Khalifa wouldn’t be Mia Khalifa without her personality.
