A man said a final farewell to his dying mum last night after being barred from seeing her by a care home. Nick Collins, 60, last saw mum Pat Collins, 89, during a socially-distanced garden visit in June.
He says since then he has been banned from visiting the great-grandmother-of-three, who was recently placed on end-of-life care.
Nick, who served 30 years with the Met Police, claims he was told by Care UK that he could only see Pat when she was 48 hours from death.
